About Us:
The Central Coast Missionary baptist church was organized on October 14, 1995 in Oceano, CA. She was organized under the authority of the First Missionary baptist Church of Downey, CA. There were 17 charter members of the newly formed Church.
The following May, the church decided to relocate to Santa Maria. She found a small building on the south side of town to meet. The church was small and rented half of the building at the time. In May of 1996, the church held her for services at 3421 Orcutt Rd. A few years later, one of the church members left his estate to the church. Those funds enabled the church to purchase the entire building on Orcutt Rd.
In May of 2008 the church decided to purchase a new location in Orcutt. Later that year on October 12th, 2008 the church held its first service at our current location on Clark Ave.
Our church has been known for the friendly atmosphere and the warmth and compassion of our members. Many who have come to visit say they can feel a "home like" feeling. We at Central Coast Missionary baptist work hard to do the Lord's will for our lives and our church. We want to make sure that everyone from the faithful attendee to the new Christian to the back sliden Christian feel like part of the group from the moment they walk through our doors. please prayfully consider visiting us soon, we look forward to meeting you.
